If you live life only to please others,
your kindness can be taken for weakness.
The consequences are
hurt, disappointment and disillusionment.
If you live life only to please yourself,
you can become selfish and ugly.
The consequences are
loneliness, bitterness and unhappiness.
BUT ...
If you live life only to please God,
you receive His favor, love and protection
There are NO consequences and the benefits are
endurance to overcome and
live a joyous, productive and rewarding life.
